The U.S. women's soccer team faced a dilemma after Saturday's open practice at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida when their bus broke down and couldn't take them back to their hotel.
Instead of waiting for a replacement bus, the women decided to hitch a ride with some of their loyal fans back to their hotel.
Based on the photo that Sydney Leroux tweeted of herself with Alex Morgan in the back of a minivan, it was a pleasant surprise for the fans that really made their day.
Holdout Sports does not normally condone hitchhiking, but it looks like these women had a pretty good screening process in selecting who to ride with.
H/T BMS.

Our bus broke down at the stadium. Option A: Hitchhike with fans. Option B: Wait. What do you think we did? pic.twitter.com/ntqwBIVHFp
