Something interesting was found underneath the remote NFL Network studio set desk during the Thursday Night Football postgame show in Denver, and we're not talking about the rattlesnake boots worn by San Diego Chargers QB Philip Rivers that other blogs are focusing on.
Rivers took part in a live interview with NFL Network analysts who were on site at a remote desk on the side of the field after he led the Chargers to a 27-20 victory over the Broncos. Rivers let his personality show through, resulting in a fantastic interview that was very entertaining to watch.
At around the 8:14 mark, analyst Deion Sanders took particular appreciation of the rattlesnake boots that Rivers was wearing and asked Rivers to show America the boots. The audience was then provided a camera view of Rivers' boots underneath the desk as he took them off.
Those are interesting boots, but hold on, wait a second: What's that under the boots? Let's take another look:
Well, that's interesting. Looks like a swimsuit calendar. Hmmm, the game is in Denver - let's take an educated guess. Would this happen to be a 2014 Broncos cheerleader swimsuit calendar?
Bingo! So now the question is, who brought the Broncos cheerleader calendar onto the set (and apparently tried to hide it)?
Given that Sanders was caught checking out the Jaguars cheerleader calendar before last week's NFL Network game in Jacksonville, he would have to be considered a suspect, but we don't know for sure. So, it looks like we have a mystery on our hands.
We'll see if we can scour the Internet for more clues. Stay tuned.
