St. Louis Blues television announcers John Kelly and Darren Pang had an incredibly awkward moment on the air before Thursday night's game against the Calgary Flames when they found themselves staring at each other in awkward silence when they apparently missed their cue from the studio.
It started out in hilarious fashion with Kelly and Pang jokingly fighting over the microphone as the FOX Sports Midwest studio host sent the broadcast out to the game. However, Kelly and Pang didn't seem to get the cue that they were live, so after a quick joke about the weather, Kelly and Pang ended up staring at themselves, and the camera, without saying anything, making for an uncomfortable moment for themselves and the viewers.
Kelly and Pang were finally taken off the hook as the telecast switched back to the studio, but it was way too late. Would love to know what happened behind the scenes there.
