The National Anthem before Thursday night's UCLA basketball game in Los Angeles against the top-ranked Arizona Wildcats was performed on the bass guitar by Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Flea did a good job playing the Star-Spangled Banner, and he didn't have to worry about messing up the words to the song.
This may just be a warmup for bigger things for Flea, as it was just announced that the Chili Peppers will be joining Bruno Mars in the Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show next month.
On a side note, as SportsGrid pointed out, Bill Walton doesn't mess around when it comes to chewing gum.
