Andy Roddick took a serve square in the groin from Mark Philippoussis during a head-to-head match in last week's PowerShare Series event for retired tennis pros in Birmingham, Alabama.
Roddick was fortunate that the ball bounced before hitting him in the marbles, but that certainly didn't help lessen the pain. Fortunately, Roddick was able to recover to win the match, then followed it up with a win over John McEnroe in the final.
