Young Cardinals fan digs baseball out of rolled-up tarp (Video)

A young St. Louis Cardinals fan would not be denied an opportunity to grab a foul ball out of a rolled-up tarp on the edge of the stands during the fifth inning of Wednesday's spring training game against Minnesota.

The young fan leaned over the edge and reached into the tarp as his father held his legs to keep him from falling onto the field. The fan's perseverance was rewarded when some nearby fans helped lift up the tarp to shake the ball loose, giving the boy a well-deserved souvenir.
