Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball coach John Calipari was ejected midway through the second half during Saturday upset loss to South Carolina.
Calipari appeared to be upset when Julius Randle had the ball stolen from him without a foul being called. Calipari came out to the three point line to argue with the nearest official, who called a technical on him and immediately had him tossed with 10:25 remaining in the second half. Coach Cal seemed to regret his actions as he headed straight for the locker room rather than continuing to argue with the official.
Calipari's ejection seemed to light a fire under his team, who were down by 12 points at the time he was tossed but were only down 68-67 with 22 seconds left in the game. However, Kentucky's rally fell short as they lost 72-67.
