A.J. Pollock catches fly ball amid swarm of bees (Video)

Arizona Diamondbacks center fielder A.J. Pollock caught a fly ball amid a swarm of bees in the first inning of Thursday's game against San Francisco.

The game started on time despite the bees congregating in the outfield, and wouldn't you know it, Giants batter Angel Pagan led off the game with a fly ball to center field. Pollock showed some great concentration and focus as he caught the ball on the warning track, then sped out of there as fast as he could.

Pollock got a good chuckle out of it, but D-backs manager Kirk Gibson couldn't help but express his concern about the bees to the umpires at that point. The umpires wisely delayed the game briefly so a beekeeper could be brought in to get things under control.

Now if this wasn't buzzworthy, we don't know what is. (Sorry, couldn't resist).
