Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano returned to Yankee Stadium for the first time since leaving the New York Yankees as a free agent during the offseason and was greeted warmly by his former teammates, including superstar Derek Jeter. Jeter took particular interest in Cano's beard, which Cano did not have while playing for the Yankees due to their strict rules regarding facial hair.
Cano went 1-for-5 in the game with an RBI and came out victorious as the Mariners beat the Yankees 6-3.
