The fan had his left hand free while holding a cup of beer in his right hand as the foul ball by D-backs batter Miguel Montero came towards him. Unfortunately, not only did he fail to come down with the ball on his leaping attempt, but he also lost half of his beer, with some of his spilling on his date's coat.
Needless to say, she was not happy and had some not-so-nice things to say to him. Fortunately, cameras her smiling moments later, so it seems that this D-backs fan has been forgiven. All's well that ends well.
