Hall of Fame pitcher (and newly named executive advisor for the Houston Astros) Nolan Ryan threw an extremely wild ceremonial first pitch before Tuesday night's season opener against the New York Yankees.
Astros great (and future Hall of Famer) Craig Biggio served as catcher for the ceremonial pitch, but was unable to stay in front of it as Ryan's pitch was nearly five feet wide of home plate.
Despite the wild pitch, Ryan and Biggio were all smiles afterwards. More importantly, however, no one got hurt.
