Tuesday night's Game 2 of the NBA Eastern Conference playoff series between the Indiana Pacers and the visiting Atlanta Hawks was briefly interrupted in the first quarter when a young child's ball rolled onto the court.
Play was stopped with 2:21 remaining in the first as one of the referees picked up the yellow ball, which fit in the palm of his hand. The ref gave it back to the boy in the front row and gave him a pat on the head, while the boy's father, likely a bit embarrassed, put the ball away for the rest of the game.
