The New York Yankees pulled off an around-the-horn triple play to get out of a jam during the second inning of Thursday night's game against Tampa Bay.
It happened with nobody out and Rays runners on first and second as Sean Rodriguez hit a sharp chopper down the line to Yanks third baseman Yangervis Solarte. Solarte stepped on the bag at third, who tossed to Brian Roberts at second, who turned and threw to Scott Sizemore at first for the triple play.
The triple play was the first of the 2014 MLB season.
