Angels fan's souvenir cup shattered by foul ball (Video) ~ Holdout Sports

A Los Angeles Angels fan had his souvenir cup shattered by a foul ball during Friday night's game against Kansas City.

The Angels fan in the first base stands made the poor decision to hold onto his plastic souvenir cup while trying to catch the sharp liner hit by Angels batter Colin Cowgill in the bottom of the eighth. As luck would have it, the cup took a direct hit and broke instantly, with the contents of the cup spilling onto the floor. The fan was left with a huge hole in his empty cup, and nearby fans couldn't help but laugh at his misfortune.

Let this be a lesson for the kids at home: Plastic cups are no good for catching baseballs.
