An Atlanta Braves fan made an impressive one-handed catch of a foul ball with his left hand while holding his young daughter in his right arm during Saturday night's game against San Francisco.
It happened in the bottom of the fifth inning as Braves pitcher Julio Teheran hit an 0-1 pitch foul behind home plate. The Braves fan shifted his body to shield his daughter from the ball while he made the catch with his bare left hand. Even Giants catcher Buster Posey had to pause for a second to admire the catch.
This is the second time this week that a fan has been able to grab a foul ball while holding their child in the other arm. Fortunately in both cases, the dads put the safety of their kids first. We've seen a few times in the past where dads have actually dropped their children going for a foul ball and got themselves into a bit of trouble.
