Clayton Kershaw forgets bat while heading to on-deck circle (Video)

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw had to return to the dugout after forgetting his bat while heading to the on-deck circle to warm up before an upcoming at-bat during Tuesday night's game against Washington.

Kershaw's momentary lapse could be explained by the fact that he was making his first start since the season opener. However, Kershaw's performance on the mound went smoothly, as he pitched seven shutout innings and earned the win in the 8-3 Dodgers victory over the Nationals.
