A Chicago Cubs broadcaster dropped a classic "Seinfeld" quote after Padres batter Jedd Gyorko struck out to end the second inning during Saturday night's game at Petco Park.
Gyorko's last name is pronounced "Jerk-o", which comes with the obvious connotations and likely inspired a Cubs broadcaster to paraphrase the George Costanza line from the popular show:
"Hey, the jerk store called and they're running out of you."Gyorko went 0-for-3 as the Padres lost to the Cubs 3-2.
