New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter was startled by a lightning strike near Wrigley Field during Tuesday night's game in Chicago against the Cubs.
It happened in the top of the third inning with Jeter on second base as a thunderstorm in the Chicago area lit up the sky. While the crowd reacted with oohs and aahs, Jeter jumped a bit when he heard the loud boom before realizing what was going on.
Interestingly enough, the thunderstorm came just a few days days after Chicago was hit with a surprise snowfall.
