Los Angeles Kings goalie Jonathan Quick received a roughing penalty for punching Anaheim Ducks forward Corey Perry in the groin during the second period of Monday night's Game 2 of their Western Conference playoff series.
Perry was knocked down flat on the ice in front of the net, and apparently Quick couldn't resist the opportunity to take a cheap shot. Maybe this was payback for Perry filling Jeff Carter's glove with water in the previous game, but that seems a bit much.
The Kings won the game 3-1 to take a 2-0 lead in the series.
