San Antonio Spurs center Tiago Splitter failed to draw a foul, but drew some embarrassing attention to himself, with a massive flop in the second quarter of Tuesday night's Game 4 of the NBA Western Conference Finals against Oklahoma City.
Splitter was guarding Thunder forward Serge Ibaka and threw himself onto the ground after a light elbow from Ibaka. The play on the court continued as if nothing happened, leaving Splitter scrambling to get up and back to his position on defense.
We would guess that the NBA will assess Splitter with a fine for this one. It was just too obvious, although it was worth a few laughs.
