It happened in the top of the seventh inning as Orioles batter Jonathan Schoop ripped the 2-0 pitch foul on the third base side. The Twins ballboy prepared to play a short hop, but the ball suddenly bounced shoulder high at the last minute. The ballboy tried to protect himself, but left his face exposed, and the ball hit him in the right cheek.
We know that had to hurt. We hope he's OK.
