The Belgium women's field hockey team was sent scrambling onto the field to start the second half of Saturday's World Cup match against Korea after they were extremely late coming out of the tunnel and the referees restarted the match without them.
There was only one Belgium woman on the field when the whistle blew to start the second half as the other players raced in from the sidelines. Amazingly, however, they were able to slow down Korea enough to allow their goalkeeper to get into position and prevent giving up a gift empty-net goal.
In the end, however, Korea did win the match 4-2.
