Brewers score three runs on Rockies wild pitch (Video)

Here's something you don't see every day: The Milwaukee Brewers were able to score three runs on a wild pitch thrown by the Colorado Rockies (with the help of a throwing error) during the third inning of Saturday's game at Coors Field.

It happened as the Brewers loaded the bases with two outs and a 5-2 lead. Rockies starter Christian Friedrich threw a 1-2 pitch past catcher Michael McKenry that bounced off the backstop. McKenry chased the ball as Friedrich covered home plate, but McKenry's throw to catch the first Brewers runner was out of reach of Friedrich, which allowed a second Brewers runner to score. Brewers runner Jean Segura advanced from first to third, but caught Friedrich napping after he tracked down the ball, and was able to beat Friedrich in a race to home plate to score the third run.

Needless to say, the Brewers beat the Rockies 9-4.
