New York Mets reliever Carlos Torres punched himself in the head a few times after giving up the go-ahead runs during extra innings of Thursday night's game against Milwaukee.
Torres pitched the 12th inning without giving up a run, but gave up four runs on five hits without registering an out after pitching to six batters in the 13th. Naturally, Torres was pretty angry when he came out.
According to Mets broadcasters, Torres seemed to be "taking one for the team" as he was left in the game a bit longer than he should have been. Hopefully the coaches will check on Torres today to make sure he's alright.
