Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale picked up a bat and smashed it against a wall in the locker room tunnel after giving up a game-tying grand slam home run in Saturday's game against the Los Angeles Angels.
Sale entered the eighth inning with a 5-0 lead before everything fell apart. After giving up a run and loading the bases, Angels superstar Mike Trout hitting the game-tying grand slam on a 3-2 pitch.
Sale was taken out immediately afterwards and was clearly frustrated. Sale also has a bit of a temper - we once witnessed him pounding on an ice chest after being taken out of a game last year. We just hope Sale didn't hurt himself - or anyone else - when he smashed that bat.
