John Axford beats D-backs mascot in rock, paper, scissors (Video)

Cleveland Indians closer John Axford defeated Arizona Diamondbacks mascot D. Baxter the Bobcat in a quick game of rock, paper, scissors before Wednesday's game at Chase Field.

Axford and the D-backs mascot both chose paper and rock in the first and second rounds, but Axford sealed the win in the third round by choosing scissors while D. Baxter chose paper.

The match appeared to be a good sign for the Indians as they went on to beat the D-backs 6-1.
