Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman won the vote to be on the cover of the upcoming EA Sports Madden NFL 15 video game.
Sherman beat out Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton in the final cover vote. Both Sherman and Newton were in attendance for the big announcement, which was made on Friday outside the Staples Center in Los Angeles during a live episode of ESPN SportsNation.
It's been a heck of a year for Sherman already, but if he can avoid the "Madden" curse, that will really be an accomplishment.
