RoboCop threw a disappointingly weak first pitch before Tuesday night's Detroit Tigers game at Comerica Park.
The man dressed as RoboCop did throw his pitch on target, but the ball bounced a few feet short, leaving Tigers outfielder Rajai Davis to play the ball on a short hop. RoboCop's mechanics would appear to need some fine-tuning, but at least the throw was better than 50 Cent's recent disaster.
The event was part of a daylong set of festivities which made up "RoboCop Day", celebrating the DVD release of the recent RoboCop movie remake, which was based in a futuristic version of Detroit.
