The University of Florida marketing department had some explaining to do after a recent discovery that their 2014 football calendar features former tight end (and former New England Patriots star) Aaron Hernandez for the month of July.
Hernandez, of course, is in jail awaiting trial on three counts of murder. So how did they miss this one?
According to Lost Lettermen, the marketing department at U of F likely approved the calendar in the spring of 2013, while Hernandez was first charged with murder in June 2013. Whoops.
