San Francisco Giants catcher Andrew Susac was hit in the backside by a foul ball while catching a bullpen session during the sixth inning of Monday night's game against Pittsburgh.
Giants batter Tony Abreu hit a 2-1 pitch foul on the third base side which caromed off the dugout railing and took a couple of bounces before hitting Susac in the rear end. Fortunately, Susac was fine, but hopefully next time his teammates can help more of a heads-up when a ball comes in his direction.
