New York Mets right fielder Curtis Granderson stumbled out of the batter's box as he hit a single to lead off Friday night's game at San Diego.
Granderson tried to get a quick jump out of the batter's box as he hit the base hit up the middle, but couldn't get his feet underneath him. Granderson fell to the ground but kept himself from doing a full faceplant, and yet still had plenty of time to get himself off the ground and finish running to first base.
The single by Granderson started a three-run rally for the Mets before the Padres had a chance to come up to bat.
