U.S. men's soccer star Jermaine Jones was invited to throw the ceremonial first pitch before Friday night's Los Angeles Dodgers game against San Diego. After throwing the pitch (which was actually not bad), Brian Wilson presented Jones with a soccer ball to give Jones a chance to showcase his real talent.
Jones lined up to kick the ball towards home plate while catcher A.J. Ellis stood in front of the plate like a goalie. Jones may have taken it easy on Ellis by kicking the ball straight to him, as Ellis spiked it to the ground like a volleyball. However, it was a good show for the Dodgers fans as Jones received a big hand from the crowd.
