The New York Mets are giving away a Mets cap autographed by Ian Ziering, star of the upcoming Syfy movie "Sharknado 2: The Second One".
Why are the Mets shamelessly promoting a B-movie? Well, "Sharknado 2" takes place in New York City, and one of the scenes in the movie was filmed in Citi Field. The Mets gave director Anthony C. Ferrante a 12-hour day to film the scene for the movie.
"Sharknado 2: The Second One" premieres Wednesday, July 30th at 9PM, and FOX News calls it "a hilarious must-see treat". Should be a doozy.
