San Diego Padres infielder Jedd Gyorko was pranked by his teammates with the old cup-on-the-hat trick during Tuesday night's game against Cincinnati.
Gyorko, who is currently on the 15-day DL, had the Powerade cup on his hat for several minutes during the seventh inning without realizing it. Gyorko's teammates and coaches were entertained as they tried to throw sunflower seeds into the cup.
It wasn't until Gyorko tried to put his hood on that the cup fell off and he realized he had fallen victim to a classic prank. At least it wasn't the "hot foot".
