A Houston Astros fan botched the ceremonial first pitch before Tuesday night's game at Minute Maid Park by spiking the ball into the ground.
It wasn't planned, but was more a matter of releasing the ball too late in her throwing motion. She probably could have used a little more practice.
Astros mascot Orbit hung his head in disappointment, but gave the fan a reassuring big hug.
