New York Jets backup quarterback Matt Simms celebrated a go-ahead touchdown pass against the New York Giants with a poor attempt at a salsa dance as he tried to imitate the celebration move of Giants receiver Victor Cruz.
Simms decided to embarrass himself by taunting his father Phil's former team after throwing an 11-yard touchdown which gave the Jets a 24-21 lead. A nearby referee had to hang his head to hide his laughter.
As luck (or karma) would have it, the Giants came right back with a touchdown on the next possession, and followed it up with another TD for good measure, to win the "Snoopy Bowl" 35-24.
