Detroit Lions defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh delivered a late hit on Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne during Friday night's NFL preseason game, knocking him to the ground with a helmet to the chest.
Suh received a 15 yard penalty for the late hit. Suh also has established a pattern of unnecessary roughness against his opponents. The Lions are trying to become a more disciplined team, but apparently Suh hasn't gotten the message yet.
Fortunately, this is only the preseason. We'll see if new Lions coach Jim Caldwell can get through to Suh.
