In the category of things you've never seen in a football game before and may never see again, a South Dakota high school kicker made a crazy extra point that actually bounced off an opponent's head before traveling through the uprights.
It happened last weekend as Dell Rapids led Milbank 37-0 and lined up for the extra point. A low snap resulted in a low line drive kick that barely made it over the players standing at the line of scrimmage. However, after hitting the helmet of a Milbank player in the end zone, the ball bounced up and off the top of the crossbar before making it through for the successful extra point. What are the odds?
