It happened in the bottom of the second as Teixeira chased a foul ball towards the stands near first base. The fan in the third row appeared to reach for the ball with a cup of beer in his hand, which in hindsight probably wasn't the smartest decision. Hopefully he offered to pay for the other fan's dry cleaning bill.
