Home plate umpire Paul Nauert was hit in the groin by a pitch during Thursday night's ALDS Game 1 in Anaheim.
Los Angeles Angels superstar Mike Trout was at bat when a low pitch bounced off the ground and went underneath the glove of Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez, nailing Nauert in the crotch.
We're going to guess that Nauert came prepared and wore a cup, because he was able to walk it off and continue calling balls and strikes.
