Philadelphia Eagles receiver Jeff Maehl was crushed on a big hit during Sunday's game against Arizona, and to make matters worse, the hit was delivered by his own teammate, lineman Matt Tobin.
It happened in the second quarter as Eagles QB Nick Foles threw an interception to Cardinals cornerback Antonio Cromartie in the end zone. Maehl and Tobin were trying to tackle Cromartie as he took the ball out of the end zone, but Tobin ended up taking out Maehl while Cromartie kept on running.
The play ended up a critical wasted scoring opportunity for the Eagles, as the Cardinals won the game in the end 24-20.
