Minnesota Wild defenseman Mark Stuart gave a few unnecessary shoves to Winnipeg Jets left winger Jason Zucker while he was down on the ice after crashing awkwardly into the boards during the first period of Sunday's game at the Xcel Energy Center.
Zucker went shoulder first into the boards after trying to check Stuart from behind. Zucker stayed down as he was clearly in pain, but for some reason Stuart felt the need to keep mashing him into the ice.
Stuart was not called for a penalty for his unnecessary roughness. Zucker left the ice but did return later in the game.
