Ottawa Senators defenseman Mark Borowiecki was caught in an unusual predicament during the first period of Thursday night's game in Edmonton when an opposing player's stick got stuck in his visor.
Borowiecki was covering Oilers left winger David Perron in front of the net when Perron's stick came up and managed to get lodged in between Borowiecki's face and his visor. The top of the stick popped through the space between the top of the visor and the helmet, making it a bit tricky for Borowiecki to remove it.
It's funny to watch it now, but it also shows how close Borowiecki came to getting seriously hurt on the play.
