The Seattle Seahawks' live mascot, Taima the Hawk, apologized via Twitter for landing on top of an opponent's head before kickoff of last Sunday's game against the N.Y. Giants.
Taima leads the Seahawks out of the tunnel and onto the field before each home game. However, the landing on the unidentified fan's head was clearly unplanned and admittedly embarrassing:
