Retired Miami Heat forward and current team ambassador Shane Battier sat in front of a piano and sang the Billy Joel classic "Just The Way You Are" to welcome the "Piano Man" back to Miami for his upcoming concert at the AmericanAirlines Arena this coming January.
Or, should we say, he tried to sing the Billy Joel hit, but as far as Battier's performance, well, let's just say it's not as good as the original:
It should be noted that Battier has no issues singing in public, as the Miami Heat's annual "South Beach Battioke" event has turned into a wildly successful charity fund raiser for his Battier Take Charge Foundation. We certainly support that.
H/T NIS.
