Detroit Red Wings forward Gustav Nyquist scored the unassisted overtime game-winner in Saturday night's game against Ottawa in a play that has to be considered a candidate for goal of the season (so far).
Nyquist held on to the puck for about 28 seconds and circled around the entire Senators defense twice before finally attacking the net and taking the slapshot for the score.
Now that's pretty impressive puck handling skills by Nyquist to be able to hold onto the puck that long without having it knocked away, let alone set himself up for the game winning shot.
