It looks like Johnny Manziel is causing more headaches for the Cleveland Browns, and you have to wonder how "Johnny Football" is going to dig his way out of the hole he has made for himself within the organization.
Manziel is out for Sunday's game against Baltimore with a hamstring injury, but that didn't stop him from throwing a big party on Friday night, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. It must have been a really late night, as Manziel failed to show up for his Saturday morning treatment at the team facilities. Making matters worse, Manziel failed to answer his phone, leading to the Browns sending team security to his apartment to confirm his whereabouts. As a punishment for his inexcusable tardiness, the Browns fined Manziel an undisclosed amount.
This all happened just a few days after Manziel said this (per AP's Tom Withers via Yahoo! Sports):
In the offseason, the front office will have to decide whether Manziel is really a player that the team can build their future around. To have another incident occur on the final weekend of the season will only serve to reinforce the doubt that must be creeping in.

"It's been a year of growing up for me. ... This is a job for me now and I have to take it a lot more seriously than maybe I did at first."First of all, it's a bit alarming that it took Manziel a whole season to realize that he needs to take the job seriously. Second, you have to question Manziel's commitment if he still hasn't gotten the message about being focused on the job. Finally, this "lost year" has given his Browns teammates a negative impression and created doubts in their minds not only in Manziel's ability to play at a high level, but his ability to be a leader on the team.
