Florida State Seminoles head football coach Jimbo Fisher had to tell his star quarterback Jameis Winston to back off on two separate occasions during Saturday night's ACC Championship game against Georgia Tech.
Winston apparently wanted some input into the offense, but Fisher wasn't having any of it. During a timmeout with 1:03 left in the first half, Fisher was captured by cameras and microphones yelling at Winston "Let me coach this offense."
Later in the game, cameras captured Fisher yelling in Winston's direction again. No sound this time, but it appeared that Fisher said "Let me call the game!"
In the end, things worked out as Florida State as they held on to beat Georgia Tech 37-35 to win the ACC Championship and finish the regular season undefeated. The Seminoles will be the number 3 seed in the inaugural College Football Playoff and face Oregon in the semifinal round.
