Colorado Avalanche forward Matt Duchene missed out on a goal after hitting both goalposts on a shot that somehow stayed out of the net during Monday night's game against Montreal.
It happened in the second period as Duchene cut to the net on a breakaway opportunity. Canadiens goalie Carey Price could not have had better luck on his side, as the puck even hit Price in the back after hitting both goalposts yet still managed to stay out of the net.

In the end, the Canadiens beat the Avs 4-3, so Duchene's missed opportunity was the difference in the game. Those are the breaks.
