Arizona offensive lineman Steven Gurrola ejected for punching Oregon player (Video)

Arizona senior offensive lineman Steven Gurrola was ejected from Friday night's Pac-12 championship game against Oregon for punching an opposing player in the stomach.

It happened in the third quarter after a Wildcats interception as Gurrola appeared to take offense to being pinned down by Ducks defensive lineman DeForest Buckner. According to the video, as both players got up, Gurrola punched Buckner in the stomach.

Gurrola was called for a personal foul and promptly tossed from the game. The ejection will also carry over to the first half of Arizona's next game, which means that Gurrola has to sit for the first half of Arizona's bowl game, which also happens to be the final game of his career. Ouch.

Gurrola was replaced at center by Carter Wood, who had no trouble with his snaps despite vomiting on the football. It was that kind of day for the Wildcats as Oregon blew out Arizona 51-13.
